Pedestrian hit by car in Market Street Southport

The emergency services were called to the junction of Market Street and Lord Street this morning (Wednesday 14th August) at approximately 8.35.

A pedestrian was hit by a car .The driver of the car stopped at the scene. Police and members of the public looked after the injured person until the paramedics arrived. Treatment was provided and the person was taken to hospital. Their condition is not known.
