Pedestrian hit by car on Lord Street Southport. Emergency services on scene

The emergency services were called to Lord Street this evening after a pedestrain was hit  by a vehicle opposite Wetherspoons. Customers rushed to the mans aid before the emergency services arrived.

The injured man was transfered to an ambulance for treatment but appeared to be not seriously injured.
