People rescued from ride at Southport Pleasureland after it breaks down

People had to be rescued from The Rocket ride at Southport Pleasureland this afternoon after it broke down.

The ride is not very high and a cherry picker was used to rescue people.

Nobody was injured in the incident although social media posts say someone fainted.

Ride fails in Southport pleasureland people stuck on ride half way round staff using cherry picker to get people of one young girl fainted taken off first and been seen to by staff.
