People’s Health Hero at Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust
2021 has been another challenging year for your local NHS staff coping with the demands of Covid-19.
Do you know a member of staff working at our hospitals or in one of our services who deserves special recognition?
Patients and their families are being invited to nominate a member of staff or team from Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust as this year’s People’s Health Hero in the organisation’s annual Time to Shine staff awards.
Managing Director Anne-Marie Stretch said: “We receive many hundreds of compliments a year from patients and their families for the care they’ve received. The People’s Health Hero Award is an opportunity to make a very public thankyou for the very best care by our staff. This is your opportunity to recognise them.”
Nominations for the People’s Health Hero Award are open until midnight on Sunday 14 November. Any member of staff or team, in any role, is eligible for a nomination providing they have worked Southport hospital, Ormskirk hospital or other services the Trust provides over the past 12 months.
Nominations should be made here or in writing to the Chief Executive at: Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust, Town Lane, Kew, Southport, PR8 6PN.
The People’s Health Hero Award will be presented in December along with other awards selected from nominations made by Trust staff.
