Persistent rain brings flooding to Lord Street and Duke Street roundabout in Southport again

Persistent rain today has once again brought flooding to the roundabout at the south end of Lord Street. Water is lapping over the pavements in places making it difficult for people to cross the road.

There is also flooding at the crossing outside Starbucks and the junction with Nevill Street.

This has been going on for weeks every time it rains. Have the Council given up on clearing the drains on Southport's famous Boulevard?
