Plan ahead if visiting National Trust at Formby near Southport

Christmas and New Year is a popular time for getting out and about. It’s likely to be a busy day here at Formby’s nature haven, with reduced parking space due to storm damaged trees.

Planning a visit? Head to Lifeboat Road car park (L37 2EB) as Victoria Road car park is closed during the Christmas holidays for essential tree safety work.

If Lifeboat Road car park is full to capacity, the team will need to close it for the rest of the day. This is to prevent queues and keep people safe.

Whilst you’re having a wander please stick to open spaces and keep a safe distance from woodland areas.

Thank you for helping us protect wildlife by taking your litter home or using the large bins in the car parks, following local signage and being mindful of other visitors, our local neighbours and the nature around you.

Please read our busy days information before you set off. You may decide you’ll enjoy a visit to this special place more on a quieter day. We’re open 7 days a week all year round https://bit.ly/3p3MePL
