Please keep your dogs out of the Dune Slacks in Southport

The dunes are coming alive with the warmer weather! Natterjack toads are starting to awaken from their hibernation and will soon be breeding in the dune slacks.

Please do not allow your dogs into pools (whether they are fenced off or not)

Dogs cooling off in pools kick up silt and their flea treatment can contaminate bodies of water and be harmful to aquatic life.
