Police appeal after attempted vehicle thefts in the Kew Road area of Southport

There have been two attempted thefts of cars in the Birkdale area of Southport since last weekend. Vehicle owners are reminded that additional security measures such as steering wheel locks, wheel clamps and gate pillars often prove a strong deterrent to thieves and are recommended to try and reduce the risk to your own vehicle.

Anyone with CCTV footage or dash cam footage which may have captured three offenders making off on KEW ROAD in Birkdale between 02:30 and 03:00am on Friday 20th January 2023 should contact us via 101 or via the MERSEYSIDE POLICE CONTACT CENTRE Facebook page quoting crime reference number 23000057334.
