Police appeal after motorbike stolen from Kew Retail Park
Police are investigating the theft of a Triumph motorcycle from the Kew Retail park, that took place at approximately 5:15PM yesterday afternoon, Tuesday 10th August.
Two men arriving on a silver scooter were seen to take the bike off the car park (see photograph), onto MEOLS COP ROAD and then turn left into HART STREET.
Did you see these men on the scooter and motorcycle on Hart Street or anywhere else? Do you have CCTV or dashcam footage that may have captured the pair as they made off with the stolen motorcycle.
Another stolen motorcycle was recovered earlier in the afternoon in the Cemetery Road area. We believe the two incidents are linked.

The daylight theft of the Triumph motorcycle shows the audacity of these criminals; To steal a motorcycle in daylight, in a busy shopping area. It sadly illustrates that it is just not safe to leave motorcycles parked up anywhere unattended.
If you see anyone loitering around motorcycles or bikes that are parked up/left outside shops etc., report it or dial 999 straight away if you believe a crime is in progress.
At the weekend, Southport PCSO's located a stolen van that had been used in recent motorcycle thefts, and a motorcycle stolen from Southport was recovered by officers in Kirkby. A number of motorcycles have now been recovered in the Kirkby area and we continue to work together across the areas on these vehicle crimes.
