Police appeal after Playground fire in Burscough

We are appealing for witnesses and footage following a fire at a play park in Burscough.
We were called by the fire service to Richmond Park on Junction Lane at around 6.30pm last night (Thursday 24th October 2024) following reports that climbing frames and other play equipment were on fire.

The fire has since been extinguished and the area sealed off.
We’re asking that anyone who has any CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time to get in touch with us.
