Police called to a concern for welfare of a man on Lord Street Southport

Officers from Merseyside Police were called to Lord Street in Southport early this afternoon (17th February) after members of the public became concerned for the welfare of a man sat on a bench.

The man was crying and very agitated.Officers talked to the man and calmed him down before allowing him to go on his way.
