Police called to Southport Station after reports of sexual assault.

A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "British Transport Police were called to Southport station at 8.36pm on Thursday 22 September following reports of a sexual assault on-board a train.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing. Witnesses, or anyone with information, are asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 601 of 22/09/22."
