Police called to Telegraph Pole protest in Wennington Road Southport

Police have been called to keep the peace this morning on Wennington Road in Southport. Locals are unhappy about Openreach installing telegraph poles outside their houses without consulting them first.

Local people have been on the streets since 7.15 when the Openreach workers turned up.

It is not known if anybody has been arrested or if any poles have been erected.
