Police carry out out operation banger in Southport and Sefton

Sefton Community Team has this morning carried out a test purchasing operation as part of Operation Banger.

A local volunteer was used to purchase fireworks in stores 

We are pleased to report that out of 17 licensed retailers, all 17 challenged our under aged buyer and there were no successful purchases 

Over the coming Halloween / Bonfire Night period please be aware where your children are, what they are taking out with them, and who they are out with
