Police carry out test knife purchases in Formby and Southport

Southport Neighbourhood Police Officers continued this week of action on Wednesday with a knife test-purchase operation targeting the sale of bladed articles to under-age customers at 5 shop premises; Two in Formby and three in Southport.

Three out of the five shop premises refused the sale of knives and the remaining two shop premises did not have any knives/ bladed articles for sale.
