Police continue to have high visibility patrols in Southport to disperse large groups of youths

Local Policing Team Officers assisted Response Officers with the arrest of a man on suspicion of drink driving and also conducted patrols through the town centre and seafront areas, to disrupt and disperse groups young people responsible for anti-social behaviour. 

During the course of this another bike was recovered, which has been booked into our property store to be checked against recent stolen bikes. 

Officers from Sefton Targeted Team have continued patrols overnight in Southport in response to recent thefts and attempted thefts from motor vehicles.
