Police have four suspects after bike thefts in Southport

Enquiries into bike thefts on the seafront area in Southport have led to us now having four suspects in three separate thefts.

The thefts are not by a team of offenders, but by different offenders in three of the thefts investigated so far, with no evidence to suggest the thefts are connected.

In two of the thefts the offenders used bolt cutters and identified bikes with cable locks that could be cut through. 

The third theft was an opportunistic theft of a bike left unlocked and unattended.
Investigations continue to identify these suspects, along with investigations into vehicles used in these thefts.
