Police in Southport discover Cannabis farm in the old main Post office on Lord Street

Police in Southport have discovered a large Cannabis farm at the old Post Office on Lord Street this morning (2nd June).

Officers are on scene along with the scientific support team. The smell of Cannabis is really strong in the air.

Some of the Cannabis has been bagged up already for removal.

The building has been empty for years after the Post Office moved to WH Smith on Chapel Street.
