Police in West Lancs crackdown on speeding drivers along Southport Rd and in Halsall

Police said...

Recently you have asked us to:-
"Do some speed enforcement in Halsall"

This morning officers from the Tactical Operations Support department conducted a traffic operation including speed enforcement in Halsall.

Thankfully most of the drivers in Halsall were driving responsibly however a traffic offence report was issued for one local resident.

You also asked us to:-
"Do something about speeding on Southport Road"

This afternoon the officers conducted a speed enforcement operation on Southport Road. The highest recorded speed was 45mph in the 30mph section. 2 drivers were dealt with for speeding offences.
