Police incident on Lord Street this afternoon

Officers from Merseyside Police were called to an incident at the north end of Lord Street early this afternoon. Four Police vehicles were at the scene. Officers did not indicate as to the nature of the incident.

People sitting at the bus stop thought there may have been a shoplifting incident. Another person said that a drunk man was causing a nuisance to people walking along.
