Police incident opposite Lidl supermarket in Southport. Man arrested.

Police were called to the flats opposite Lidl supermarket at approximately 12.50 this afternoon(23rd February).

Six Police vehicles rushed to the scene and officers began searching the bushes in the garden of the flats.

Officers detained a man on a bike. The man and the bike were taken away by the Police.

A witness at the scene said that the man looked suspicious and was probably selling drugs.
