Police incident Portland Street,Southport

Officers from Merseyside Police are at a property on Portland Street in Southport. They arrived just before 9.00 am and entered the block of flats. Police have been to the building before when neighbours heard screaming coming from a middle-floor flat.

It is not known what today's incident is.

The Police have said that they will release details of their incidents as part of Neighbourhood Policing Week.
