Police keeping an eye on the Travellers in the Southport Theatre car park

Officers from Merseyside Police were this afternoon (15th August) keeping an eye on the group of Travellers in the car park of the soon-to-be-demolished Southport Theatre And Convention Centre.

They were on the sea wall over the weekend but moved on Monday to this location. Officers had a quick chat with several groups before leaving.

One of the Travellers who was very polite said they were planning to leave tomorrow and find new pastures.

The sea wall car park has been cleaned by the Council this morning.
