Police pull over a car on Seabank Road . Woman driver taken away

Officers from Merseyside Police stopped this Ford Fiesta on Seabank Road in Southport at approximately Noon today. The two females in the vehicle were asked to get out and they were questioned at the roadside.

Eventually, the driver of the vehicle was placed into the police car and taken away. The passenger was allowed to go on her way on foot.

Police have been approached for comment.
