Police speed enforcement on Holmeswood Road Rufford near Southport after community concerns

In response to community concerns after our last post on Speed Enforcement, we have attended Holmeswood Road, Rufford. 

My thanks to most of the drivers adhering to the speed limit. However,  a number of interventions had to be made with the highest recorded speed being 49mph in a 30mph.  This is unacceptable, driver reported.

A motorbike who was well in excess of the speed limit failed to stop when directed. Don't worry, we have his registration and there will be a letter in the post.
