Police stop and search Chapel Street Southport

A man acting suspiciously on Chapel Street this morning just before the Armed Forces Day Parade got underway was surrounded by Merseyside Police Officers. Officers then proceded to search the man and his bag. 

The man who was middle aged was eventually left to go on his way after officers found nothing suspicious.
