Police stop and search Eastbank Street Square in Southport

Officers from Merseyside Police stopped two males on Eastbank Street Square early this afternoon.

The officers wearing protective gloves went through the mens pockets and a bag that one of them was carrying.

After some checks both men were allowed on their way as nothing was found to be out of order.
