Police summons 28 people for wildlife crime offences in the Southport area in one day
Yesterday, Sunday 17th October, Merseyside Police Wildlife Crime Unit Officers from Southport Police Station conducted an operation with Lancashire Constabulary South Rural Taskforce and our friends at the Environment Agency, during which we have interacted with over a hundred people, dealt with five drugs offences and summonsed 28 offenders to court for Wildlife Crime offences.
We are supporting the environment agency to allow them to continue providing resources and necessities for disabled people, responding to emergency pollution incidents and the brilliant support they provide for communities and clubs alongside the Angling Trust.
