Issued raised in your area and what we have been doing:
Speeding: Speeding has been highlighted as a key community issue in your area. Our Neighbourhood Officers and Officers from the Special Constabulary have again been out this week and targeting those roads that have been highlighted as being of particular concern.
Speeding concerns can be reported on:Speed Concern – Lancashire Road Safety Partnership
Parking outside schools: Officers are now receiving more and more reports of dangerous parking outside schools. People are parking across pavements, blocking driveways and parking across junctions. It goes without saying how dangerous this is and how annoying this is for local residents. Can we please ask people to be considerate when parking outside schools. Residents have now started taking in photographs of offending vehicles and appropriate action will be taken.
Residential Burglaries: Residential burglaries are another key concern raised in your area. We understand the devastating impact this crime can have on people and we take these crimes extremely seriously.
Community Engagement. Schools in Tarleton, Hesketh banks and Banks have been visited to arrange educational engagement over future months.
