Poppy appeal to miss out after Sidney Road lights in Southport to give donations to animal sanctuary

The extremely popular Sidney Road lights who hold displays for Halloween and Christmas have this year held a Remembrance Display with the donations going to Woodlands their chosen charity.

Surely the donations from the Remembrance Display should be going to the British Legion.

Following tremendous interest in our Remembrance Day display with over 10,000 views we’ve decided to pause the race to set up for Christmas and run the show again on Sunday 14th from 5-9pm. 

If you’re passing by please stop for a minute and if you have any odd coins you can spare drop them in the box on the gatepost and I’ll add them to the Christmas collection for Freshfields Animal Rescue
