Preparations for the Southport Air Show continue

Preparations continued today for this weekend's Southport Air Show. Catering units and portaloos are being placed on the beach. Due to the amount of mud on the so-called beach the crowd line is not as far out as usual.

Retail units are also being set up on the Marine Drive which is closed to traffic.

If you are attending and thinking of going on the beach it would be sensible to wear wellington boots.
