Property badly damaged by fire in Market Street Southport

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service were called to a property fire in Market Street Southport yesterday afternoon (Friday May 3rd). Police cordoned off the road as firefighters tackled the blaze. Pictures from the rear of the building show a smashed in door and windows shattered by the heat,

It is not known if anybody was injured. Police are still at the scene this morning with an officer sat outside.
