Pure Legal Southport FC sponsors cease trading

Pure Legal on of the main sponsors of Southport FC have ceased trading.

Southport FC's ground is called the Pure Stadium.

The club have yet to comment.

Pure Business Group Limited, Pure Legal Limited, Pure Claims Support Services Limited, Pure Technology Systems Limited, Pure Reporting Services Limited, Pure Claims Limited, Pure Costs Budget Limited, Connect Costs Limited and Astute Business Management Consultants Limited (together "the Companies") were placed into Administration on 2 November 2021 by Order of the High Court of Justice pursuant to paragraph 35 of Schedule B1 to the Insolvency Act 1986. In the same Order, Robert Armstrong, Michael Lennon and James Saunders of Kroll Advisory Ltd. were appointed Joint Administrators of the Companies.

Other companies within the Group remain trading and are unaffected by the Administration process.

The Companies ceased to trade following the appointment of the Joint Administrators. The Joint Administrators are currently undertaking their statutory duties following the appointment and working with industry regulators in relation to the protection of claimant rights. Immediately upon their appointment, and with the support of the Solicitors Regulation Authority, the Joint Administrators secured the effective transfer of rights to handle the claims and work-in-progress (WIP) files of all existing claimants.
