Radio City commented...

It’s a new era for us here at Radio City as, from April this year, we rebrand to Hits Radio Liverpool. We’ll be the same station you know and love, just with a new name that better reflects who we are and the music we play.

You will still be able to access all your local news and information, including traffic and travel, and our much-loved breakfast host, Leanne and new co-host Joel, will be on air as usual when you wake up every weekday morning from 6am.

As well as what you hear on-air, we remain connected to the community with our vital fundraising for disadvantaged young people through our Cash for Kids charity.

As always, we will continue to accompany you through the day with your favourite playlist of the biggest hits and biggest throwbacks, plus shows from presenters including Fleur East, Sam Thompson and Gemma Atkinson.

For all you need to know about the change, see below.

Why are you changing your name? Why do I need to log in to listen to Radio City?
Radio City is already part of the Hits Radio Network, and this name change means we’ll be more clearly identified as part of our family network of shows.

Will I still be able to listen to Breakfast with Leanne and Joel?
Yes! Leanne and new co-host Joel will be waking up Liverpool with the biggest hits and biggest throwbacks, weekday mornings from 6am-10am. Listen here.

Will the music Radio City play change?
No. We will still have our same great playlist of the biggest hits and biggest throwbacks brought to you by our presenter line-up including Breakfast with Leanne & Joel, Fleur East, Sam Thompson, Sarah-Jane Crawford, Gemma Atkinson and Mike Toolan.

Will you still be local?
Yes! As Hits Radio Liverpool, we’ll still bring you all your local news and information, traffic and travel and Breakfast with Leanne & Joel.

Will you still support the Cash for Kids charity?
Yes, absolutely! We’ll continue our work supporting disadvantaged young people within our community with our fundraising through our charity, Cash for Kids.

Will local advertising be affected?
Not at all. Our advertising opportunities for local commercial partners remain unchanged.
