Rats running around the Botanic Gardens Kids playground

A concerned parent has sent in a picture to eyeonsouthport of a large rat running around the kids playground in the Botanic Gardens in Southport at the weekend while the children were playing.

This must be a health hazard and needs to be eradicated as soon as possible.

The Council has been approached for comment.
