Revitalisation of Southport: Lord Street Living Initiative in Focus
Sefton Council and its partners have just released a new video to explain the benefits of the Lord Street Living initiative in Southport town centre.
Lord Street Living’s aim is to encourage the conversion of currently vacant space on the upper floors of the famous thoroughfare’s historic buildings into high-quality residential properties.
In the new video, the Council’s economic growth team highlight the benefits of living at the heart of Southport. These include easy access to employers, the town’s shops, public transport and growing range of leisure entertainment venues.
They also cover the positive economic impacts that increasing residential space at would have on Southport town centre. And they talk about the support they can provide to building owners and potential investors in Lord Street.
