Riders from St. Helens charged after dangerous use of bikes on Southport beach and roads

Following an incident on Wednesday 31st May, where two motorcycles and a quad bike were ridden on Southport beach, the beach cycle path and ridden carelessly on the roads, three men from St. Helens have been issued with Section 59 warnings and Public Space Protection Order fines of £75 each.


These warnings mean that if the three riders or the same three bikes are involved in further incidents of anti-social use of the bikes, the bikes can be seized.
