Sand Lizard mural at Toad Hall in Ainsdale Southport nearly completed

One side of the giant mural being painted onto Toad Hall in Ainsdale is now finished.

Artist Paul Curtis said on his Twitter feed...

The smaller side of the Ainsdale Sand Lizards mural is now complete but please dont ask when the larger side will be finished.

I will be here for a while longer yet bear in mind that this is the 2nd biggest painting in the whole of Britain.

Sefton Council  commissioned Paul, who last year created a huge image of Red Rum on Southport Promenade, to carry out the work as part of its plans to invest in and develop the Ainsdale-on-Sea coastal area.
