Second-Half Comeback From Southport Results in 2-2 Draw Against Kidderminster

A stirring second half comeback from Southport, after a poor first half, saw the sides share the spoils in a 2-2 draw.

Kidderminster were much the better side in the first period with an out of sorts Southport struggling to make any inroads into the Kidderminster half.

Goals after 17 Minutes which looked like an own goal but was credited to Siziba and Morgan-Smith on 36 minutes when a clearance from Chris Renshaw in the Southport goal hit him on the back and rolled into the goal gave the visitors a 2-0 half time lead.

Three half time subs for Southport saw manager Neil Danns ring the changes and they paid off handsomely. Jordan Slew got both the goals with shots from range in the 57th and 63rd minutes.

It was a game with few chances for either side which could have gone either way but over the full 90 minutes neither side could have too many complaint absout the draw.
