Sefton Businesses to Strengthen Marketing Strategies at InvestSefton Workshops

Hot on the heels of the highly popular recent digital and social media masterclasses, local businesses are being invited to take advantage more free InvestSefton events in June.

Hospitality expert, Andrew Kemsley, will lead free, two-hour sessions on Monday 8thand Tuesday 9thJune focusing on helping businesses enhance their guest experience and capitalise on increased visitor numbers.

Both sessions are at Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa. The event on Monday 8thJune will be from 6pm to 8pm and the Tuesday 9thJune event will be from 10am to 12 noon. There will be ½-hour opportunity for networking before each workshop.

These are the latest InvestSefton workshops designed to help local businesses make the most of Southport’s packed 2026 cultural programme.

More than 300 local businesses have attended these InvestSefton-organised events to find out how they can strengthen their marketing, their customers’ experience and their digital presence.

At the end of June, InvestSefton will be holding its Economic Forum, which will feature presentations from a range of speakers including the Bank of England’s Ken and award-winning writer Frank Cottrell-Boyce.

Taking place at Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa, on Wednesday 24thJune, the Sefton Economic Forum is a flagship event in the local business calendar. It includes a breakfast networking from 8.15am before the main, two-hour session from 9am. There is also a business Support Marketplace from 11am.
