Storm Debi could bring very strong and disruptive winds throughout Monday.

Warning

A warning for wind that covers the North of England, including Sefton, has been issued by the Met Office. The warning is in place from 4am Monday morning and will last until 6pm the same day.

High winds could see large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and properties. Sefton Council is advising people to stay away from coastal areas.

The winds could also cause some roads to become blocked by fallen debris or trees. Please take care when travelling and take any necessary precautions.
