Sefton Council Tourism Department get it wrong in Southport

In an effort to brighten up the scores of empty shops in Southport the Tourism department have been placing posters in the windows of some of them.

A poster in the window of the old Gallery Grill on Eastbank Street shows a picture of the Marine Lake looking south. This picture is the wrong way around. It shows the flats next to Morrisons on the right and Dunes on the left.

As the pictures below show the opposite is the case.

The Council have been approached for comment.
