Sefton Council yet to remove large trees washed up on high tides in March
During the high spring tides in early March several huge trees were washed up onto the slipway entrance to the beach. The trees are still there. Southport beach car park has not been open at all so far this year with the Council saying sand conditions were not right.
Even if conditions were right access would be difficult with the trees in the way.
Also there is still no sign of any work being done on the closed Southport Pier.
