Sefton Rangers rescue person on Ainsdale Beach in Southport in howling gale

Sefton ranger service attended an incident on Ainsdale Beach this morning, shortly after high tide. Witnesses stated that an individual had apparently waded out into the stormy waves, possibly seeking a run-away dog.
