Sefton SMEs Offered Free Sustainability Event

Small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Sefton are being invited to a free event to help them cut energy costs, unlock the benefits of sustainability.
Organised by Groundwork, in partnership with InvestSefton, the event takes place between 9:30 and 11am at the Waterfront Southport Hotel on Thursday 27th February.
Cllr Paulette Lappin, Sefton Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Economy and Skills, said:
“Businesses attending this event will receive proven energy-saving tips tailored to SMEs and hear how sustainability can increase profitability and customer loyalty.
"They will be able to access a ready-to-use business action plan along with hands-on guidance on how to customise it to set their business on the path to success.
“And even if they can’t come along on 27th February, if business register their interest, we’ll reach out to offer them fully-funded, 1-2-1 sustainability support."
