Seize the Opportunity to Network with Sefton Business Leaders at InvestSefton’s Economic Forum

Places are being snapped up for InvestSefton’s Summer Economic Forum, which takes place in June, but there is still time and space to book.

Taking place between 9am and 12.30pm at Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa on Thursday, 15th June, the free Forum is open to any Sefton business of any size in any sector.

Subjects covered will include forthcoming infrastructure developments in Sefton, the outlook for the NW economy, and support for businesses via Innovate UK Edge, the Government’s innovation agency.

Speakers for the event will be economist Christian Spence, Senior Innovation and Growth Specialist at Innovate UK Edge Michael Hadfield and Sefton Council’s Assistant Director of Economic Growth and Housing Stuart Barnes. The event will be chaired by Cara Leach, Commercial Manager at Marine FC.

After a networking breakfast from 8.15am, the Economic Forum take place between 9am and 11am. After that there will be the Growth Hub Marketplace until the 12.30pm close.

InvestSefton’s Forums are relaxed and informal events, with opportunities to network with business owners, leaders and support providers from across Sefton and the region. At the Sefton Growth Hub Business Marketplace and learn about funded business support, including skills development, digital marketing and more.

Over 120 business delegates attended Invest Sefton’s previous Economic Forum event in December.
