Serious accident St Lukes Road in Southport

Police have cordoned off St Lukes Road in Southport this morning after a cyclist was knocked off their bike.

The cyclist was taken to hospital and their condition is not known at the moment.

St Lukes Road is closed for investigation work and diversions are in operation.
