Serious RTA on Hoghton Street in Southport

The emergency services were called to Hoghton Street and Church Street junction in Southport just after 1.00pm today after a car hit a cyclist. Members of the of the public looked after the cyclist until the emergency services arrived.

Police have closed the road as investigations continue. The condition of the cyclist is not known at the moment.
