Shocking Early Morning Theft: Two 125cc Motorcycles Stolen from Southport Driveways - Is Your Bike at Risk?

Two 125cc motorcycles were stolen from different addresses in Southport in the early hours of this morning (12th July). Both were parked in front driveways and had chains cut off. One of the bikes was recovered later on, the second is still outstanding stolen.

PCSO's have attended and made house to house and CCTV enquiries today, along with an area search for the second bike. If you live in one of the areas where the bikes were stolen you will have a had a letter through your door appealing for your help with CCTV.

Owners of motorcycles who leave them parked in this manner at night are advised to improve the security measures used. Always use a chain that can't be cut off with bolt cutters. Consider adding an alarm and CCTV that covers where your bike is parked.
