Six people from Southport arrested on Suspicion of money laundering

On Tuesday 17 December, search warrants were executed at six addresses across Lancashire and Merseyside as part of an investigation into money laundering by the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit.

Four men and two women from Southport, Aughton, and Rainhill were arrested on suspicion of money laundering.

Officers seized high-value cars including a Rolls Royce and a Lamborghini, £60,000 cash and designer watches from the properties.

The suspects were taken to local police stations and have been bailed pending further investigation.
